We’re serious about yoga
We believe in the power of ashtanga yoga to create positive change
We have created a supportive atmosphere at the shala. We realise that our students live busy lives and welcome everyone, from daily practitioners to those who struggle to make it to a class regularly. We are never happier than when an old student, who has let their practice slip, returns to the shala.
We never under-estimate the power of a strong community of practitioners to support each other in their practice. The experience of yoga is available to all of us, whether we’ve been practising for decades or only a few days. We are all in it together and there is always something new to learn or experience.
We are all different. We all have different minds, bodies, lives and circumstances. So it is natural that our practice will look and feel different to anyone else’s practice. This is not a reason to feel inferior or superior to others. The practice is just a method of looking inwards and knowing ourselves.
