Since 2007 Anthea has been a dedicated student of Ashtanga yoga, embracing the transformation it has brought to her life, both on a physical and spiritual level. She very quickly became interested in yoga philosophy and made the decision to dive into it further.
She is grateful to have had wonderful teachers, both here in Ireland and on numerous trips to Asia, including a recent trip to Mysore, India where she was a student of Sharath Jois. She has also developed a passion for teaching since becoming a certified Yoga Alliance teacher in 2010 and loves to see students, old and new, transform their lives through the practice.
She believes yoga is for anyone, regardless of their age or fitness level.
Yoga has become a way of life for Anthea, with a daily practice that includes asana, pranayama and meditation, and an intention to live a yogic life off the mat. It has without a doubt influenced the positive diet, lifestyle and even major career changes she has made over the years.
Anthea is also a Reiki Master and is studying to become a Health Coach.
