Luke Jordan

We are delighted to announce that Luke Jordan will be returning to Dublin this year to teach a week of morning Mysore-style classes at the shala.

Luke has been a student of Pattabhi Jois, and subsequently Sharath Jois, for many years and is certified to teach the advanced series of ashtanga yoga. He is one of the few teachers worldwide who has this level of experience and qualification.

Those of you who have attended the week with Luke before will know that he brings a depth of knowledge and experience and an ability to bring his students deeper into the full experience of ashtanga yoga practice.

We are trying out a new pricing structure for Luke’s visit this year. We are aware that what may be affordable for some may not be for others and so we are offering a three-tiered price. Students should pay the amount that they feel is appropriate for them.

Pay it forward price (€180): Students who take this option will be covering the cost of the workshop, while also enabling others to attend who would otherwise have difficulties meeting the cost of the week.

Standard Price (€150): This is the standard cost of the six days with Luke.

Supported price (€105): This is for students who have minor financial difficulty and for whom it would be difficult to attend without having a portion of the standard fee covered.

On top of this, we do not wish to exclude anyone from attending the workshop because of their financial situation. If you would like to attend but have severe financial difficulties it is possible to apply for a full bursary to cover the cost of the week-long workshop. If you feel this applies to you please get in touch with us through our contact page, or in person at the shala.

There is also a single-day rate of €35.
