We’re doing our best
We called it early and closed our doors on the same day that the government announced school closures. It was a hard decision at the time but it has proven to be the right one.
Despite the closure we need to stay together in times like these and so we’ve continued to provide a full schedule of classes at all the usual times, but online instead of in person.
We’re streaming all of our classes using Zoom, a video-conferencing app. You can get it in the app store and on desktop too. It’s easy to use but does need to be installed. You’ll also need to sign up for any of the classes you plan on streaming so that we can send you a link to click before we go live.
As we’re sure you’re aware this will be a financially difficult time for our shala to survive and so we appreciate any support you wish to give us. All the classes on Zoom will be available for free (because we know that many people are already in a very difficult financial position due to this crisis) but, if you’re not already a member at the shala, and you’re in a position to pay for the classes you participate in, we appreciate your support.
